M.E Christmas Tree Skirt
Calling all machine embroiderers! Have you looked at the JuJu Christmas tree skirts and thought someday...? Well, 2026 could be the year for you to take the plunge and make this family keepsake tree skirt. Join Becky and get started on your tree skirt. This class will meet the first Friday and Saturday of the month.We will walk through making one of each size block - outer, middle, and inner.
You get to pick your Christmas tree skirt from Designs by JuJu (designsbyjuju.com. Each tree skirt has a theme, and the tree skirts come in various sizes, depending on your embroidery hoop size. Each tree skirt consists of 15 "wedges," and each wedge is made up of three embroidered blocks. This is a big, but very doable project. As they say...How do you eat an elephant? ONE BITE AT A TIME!!
There is preparation work that needs to be done prior to the first class in January - downloading the designs to a USB stick, printing the detailed instructions for the tree skirt you have chosen, preparing your fabric for the first few blocks, choosing thread colors, and so on
You will need to bring your embroidery machine, standard embroidery supplies, cutting mat, straight ruler, rotary cutter, threads, and No-Show Mesh Stabilizer.
